David Hughes

David started Zoom Sound in 2005 in his new home town of Portland, Oregon. David has worked as a freelance sound designer and sound editor at Skywalker Sound for the past twelve years, on films by David Fincher, Ang Lee, Robert Zemeckis, Wayne Wang, Robert Redford, Steven Spielberg and many others. David has also worked as a sound designer and mixer on more than a few commercials, television shows and video game productions over his career.

Shane Sattler

Shane brings a diverse set of talents to Zoom Sound. A recent graduate of the Art Institute of Portland, Shane has a strong background in both the on location film set AND the music recording studio. Shane is available for location recording, film scoring dates and sound editorial. Even though he has a facial piercing and listens to Tool at 110 db, he's not all that scary- once you get to know him.
